Geocache Description:

A small plastic container that has been carefully camouflaged to blend into it's hiding place.

In November 1980, after generous public donations, lots of trees were planted here in Saffron Walden.  The four types of trees planted were:
  • Common Beech
  • London Plane
  • Turkey Oak
  • Norway Maple

Also very close to this cache is the famous turf maze.....  Enjoy exploring the common, and try to find this cache on the way!


Please try not to get spotted, it's a popular and busy place, but I think it's a great place for a cache so please hide and seek it carefully, make sure that it is well hidden when you replace and try not to draw too much attention to yourself.

The container is small, but big enough for some swaps and small trackable items.  I forgot to put a pen in, so bring your own for the time being, I'll try and get one in there soon.  :-)
