We'll put the log book out about 9:30am and the event will be officially over 12 hours later. All food and drink will be potluck so try to post what you will be bringing if you want to take part.
We will be camping in the Coloneh section of Huntsville State Park for 5 nights and I got permission to have an event on 11/3. I will update the page just as soon as we know what camp site we are in a couple days prior to the event.
In the summer of 2003 I went to my 3rd event with the newly formed Texas Geocaching Family in this very section of the park. (See the related web page link above.) TXGA was days old and the success of the first Texas Challenge had transformed the entire Texas cachin' continuum into a close knit community. The majority of those folks are mostly retired from caching, but I'm gonna try my best to lure a few of them out for this event.
The last attempt at a reunion event was broken up early by a tropical storm. This time will be different.
There are still camp sites available in the park if you want to camp. We welcome the company of cachers in our camp before and after the event. The more the merrier.
