This cache is located at Beth El Cemetery, the only Jewish cemetery in Harrisonburg, VA. In 1859, four Jewish families settled permanently in Rockingham County, and thus began the history of Beth El Congregation. Eight years later, regularly scheduled services began in a rented room. The land for this cemetery was acquired in 1876, but the first cornerstone for a synagogue wasn't laid until 1891, and the present synagogue just up the street from the cemetary wasn't erected until 1964. Jewish families have been living in Rockingham County for well over a century and I have had the honor of attending a Rosh Hashanah service here, so this cache is placed in honor of the warmth and kindness the people of Beth El have shown me and for welcoming all people, no matter what religion, at their services.
There is no need to go into the cemetery, and there are signs posted about avoiding doing so. The cache itself is located on the perimeter. You are looking for a magnetic nano.
