The Gumschus have enlisted the help of one of our most trusted informants in “external affairs” in order to solve a mystery from our “cold case” files.
We have to protect our informant's identity, but let's just say that they weren't "Lacking in Joy" to help us ;0) Our company informant is the oldest manufacturer and retailer in Milwaukee, and has been locally owned and operated since the company began in 1844 as a ship’s chandlery and sail loft. Marsha K. Mather has been the company’s managing partner since taking ownership in 1996. Over the years, the company has evolved from its roots in shipping and tent making, to become an outfitter for paddle sports, family camping, and winter sports activities. The company has also expanded from its original location in downtown Milwaukee, to include stores in Brookfield and Mequon.
The Gumschus received a tip from the Brookfield Bureau, that our latest “Cache of Interest” might have a hideout near the premises, but they also suspected that it was employing the use of disguises to avoid detection. The first super sleuth to find this cache can claim a handsome reward for the capture of this elusive culprit. So cache detectives, “out there…starts here”. This case may be a long way from being closed….but you’re getting warmer!
