How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
At this location, you will find a small rural rest area. Within the boundaries of this rest area are 8 mounds. (Two linear mounds and six conical mounds.) Please respect that this area is to be given the same respect as a WSQ as the mounds were placed for religeous purposes. This is not far, as the crow flies, from Effigy Mounds National Monument. This area has been completely excavated several times over. The park has beautiful colors in the fall, is available during the winter, and has picnic tables, grills, and trash/recycling bins for spring and summer stops. You are looking for a traditional amo can.
Thanks goes to the Crawford Co. park and grounds folks for permission to place this cache. This cache is being started with two travel bugs and the following swag items; a first aid kit, a rubber spider, a puzzle toy, a toy car, a magnetic chicken, a bead necklace, a card game, and an action figure.
