This cache is NOT dangerously close to the river bank. If you find a scarlet fish, use the clues to help you find the actual cache.

My kids and I have been enjoying the trails along this stretch of the Menomonee River for years. Whether you're familiar or new to the area, I hope you enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells as you hike along the unpaved path that is hidden in the woods near the river. I don't remember there being many thorny plants near GZ but you never know what each new spring will bring when you're in a woodsy, park location. Also, anytime you venture into the woods, you risk encountering ticks. That said, I have never had any tick encounters along the Menomonee River parkway in all my life so far. Hope that sentence didn't jinx me for next spring. Happy hunting! :)

check out the photo of BOuLdeR7 and I (in Hack1of2's log) in the woods at the Hoyt Park CITO event. I don't know if it will help or not but the cache can be seen in that photo :) .
