This cache has been archived.

Heartland Cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache soon so it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

When you have repaired this cache, drop me a line and I can review it again for listing on the geocaching.com site. Caches archived three months or more may need to be resubmitted as a new cache.

If you don't care to continue on with this project, please remove any remaining cache bits from the area.

Thanks for your understanding,
Heartland Cacher

Geocache Description:

This is one of five Team Schnauzer geocache hides that pay tribute to the nations of Scandinavia. Most of these caches are pretty simple hides but others will take a little bit of searching to find. Hope you enjoy our small series on the backroads of Story County!

Of all of the Scandinavian countries, Sweden is my favorite. I am one-half Swedish (other half German) and our family still participates in the many, many Swedish Christmas celebrations. Some of the typical stereotypes of Sweden are as follows: Swedes don't have a sense of humor. Early Swedes were vikings that pillaged, killed and raped women. Swedes are all tall, blonde-haired and blue-eyed. They are good at tennis and hockey. They eat meatballs, salmon and boiled potatoes and drink schnaaps. They all drive Volvos. Yes, these are some of the gross generalizations about the Swedes. The truth is, the Swedes are some of the friendliest, cleanest, intelligent and honest people on the face of the earth. I am proud to be of Swedish heritage.

This cache is a plastic tupperware container hidden at the given coordinates. Please note the D/T rating before attempting this one. This rating is the cache site under normal conditions. The terrain is increasingly difficult if there is high water, so note that when you get to GZ.
