Porcupine Hill is owned and managed by The White Oak Land Conservation Society and was opened to the public with well marked trails and off road parking in October of 2010. Previously, this 50 acre parcel of forest was owned by the Ecotarium and hosted generations of children who learned about the natural world in a summer day camp. White Oak hopes to continue the Nature Training School’s legacy of promoting respect and appreciation for the environment. The trail at Porcupine Hill is open to walkers and non-motorized vehicles. Dogs are also welcome!
You will find an information board at the entrance to the trail. A map is displayed here. You will pass a picnic table on your way to the cache, so bring a lunch!
