I have liked this entrance to this park since I found it about a year ago. I thought this stretch of walkway to the park needed another cache.
Stanley is a sad and depressed cache. Stanley believes that no one likes him so he has held himself in solitude. I think the year he spent in my cupboard has really gotten to him.
I tried to tell Stanley "He man, people like you! They will miss you and wonder were you went. They will look for you and come by to say "Hi!" when they can" Well Stanley just grumbled at me and replied "No one will visit, No body will stop by, I will just sit here and wait to be forgotten!"
As I left him that day I replied "They will come Stanley!, you will see!"
So please do me a favor and visit Stanley whenever you can, even if you have already said Hi. I want to prove to Stanley that people do care and love him even if he is just one among many.
Even if he is a little bit of a depressed cache, he is still giving and has some swag for those who drop by. He will even be willing to hold on to a small trackable or two for you if you like. Stanley is well hidden to the average person strolling along, but as geocachers you should have no trouble finding him. He is in Solitude and would like us to honor his wish to stay that way.
Please make sure that the lid to Stanley is put back on tight or he WILL take on water!
