This event is a meet and greet to celebrate the 237th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. and Veterans day.
As November 10, 2012 is the 237th birthday of the Marine corps. and November 11 is Veterans day, We felt it would be nice to celebrate these days by meeting fellow geocachers. Irvine Park opens at 8am, and the event will start at 9am. There are eight caches in the park and more around the area. We plan for this event to last for an hour or two. We plan to have muffins and/or donuts along with juice and milk. Feel free to bring other breakfast snack items to share if you would like. Since the weather will most likely be cold, we will not restrict you from bringing coffee for yoruself. We would provide coffee, but there will not be any electric outlets avaliable. We look forward to meeting all who attend. This is our first event and we hope that you will help make it a success.
