Near the cache is a special field for an old war-related sport. The exact spot is not too obvious but one should find it if enough time is used.
The original lunch box cache was destroyed in spring 2002. A glass jar served as the cache until autumn 2004 when it needed to be replaced due to normal wearing. The present cache is still from 2004, a small glass jar, in a plastic box updated 2014. There is a new log book and a pencil. Box was updated again in 2016. The old glass jar has unfortunately been lost to time. The cache is currently just big enough to accept small trackables.
When I placed this cache in 2002, there was 10-20 geocaches in Helsinki. Now it seems there are hundreds of them.
The cache is located near a shooting range for archery. There is an earth wall west of the cache position, do not approach and never climb it!
