This cache is located on a section of the Wiouwash Trail (visit link) a popular trail for hiking, biking, dog walking, wildlife watching and geocaching. It is about 800 yards south of the small parking area which is off of Breezewood Lane. There is no direct close access from HWY 45.
While no hours are posted, the trail is closed from 11 pm to 6 am. No hunting is permitted on the trail.
Cache is a small thermos. Not too difficult to find the beacon.
Kids may take one swag item without making a trade.
There was a FTF prize of up to $30,000 if you could beat the odds.
A geocache notification form (visit link) was submitted to Ellen Barth at the DNR headquarters in Oshkosh. Approval was granted to place this cache. DNR approval is preferred before placing geocaches on DNR controlled lands. Caches should not be placed until the form is submitted to the appropriate DNR land manager.
