Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is based at Sizergh Castle - which was donated to the National Trust in 1950 by the Strickland family who still reside in the castle. For more information http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/sizergh Access to the castle is via the A590, follow the brown signs to Sizergh Castle. You will need to park in the castle car park (which is free) and the cache is outside the pay barrier so there is no need to pay an entrance fee - unless you want to!

Once parked head to the Veranda outside reception where you will need to find: (a) the number of picnic benches on the veranda (b) the number of vertical posts made from wood and metal that hold up the hand rail on the veranda (c) the number of pillars supporting the roof. To find the cache use the car park coordinates and complete the sums below: [N54] 17015 - [(c x 8) - a] [W002] 46407 - [(b + a) x a]
