Danke Schoen Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

When I was a little girl my mom would take my sister and I to Oma's house once a week. While mom did Oma's hair we would sneak pieces of hard candy, watch Days of Our Lives, and stare in amazement at the dancers on the cuckoo clock. Oma lived above the bar that Aunt Joey owned at the end of Lincoln Avenue. At lunch time Aunt Joey would come upstairs with a plate of hot ham and rolls and Oma always said "danke schoen." Until I was 12, I thought "danke schoen" meant hot ham!

While Oma and Aunt Joey are gone, the bar is still here and sometimes I like to drive by. I placed this cache on a whim during one of these drives

GZ is in plain view of quite a few houses but we scoped out the area for awhile and no one seemed to pay us any attention.

Bring your own pen and tweezers please.

While this cache is on public property, it is in the middle of a residential area. Please be considerate of neighbors and if searching at night try not to look too creepy :)

Congrats to Mos Eisley Pirates on the FTF!
