In cooperation with the Des Moines Parks and Recreation department and the Westwood Neighborhood Association, we will be doing a CITO event for Cummins and Walnut Creek.
We will begin at the parking lot of Pal Joeys and and clean the trail and creek. This CITO event will be from 9-Noon. Trash bags will be provided. You should bring gloves, trash pokey stick if you have one and boots as we will be cleaning both the trail and the creek. Ready to get dirty! You may want to bring waders or wear old clothes.
Also, bring any forms if you or your kids are in need of service hours. I will be more than happy to sign them during the event.
