Quick Flash Mob on Groundhog's Day at sunrise. Come out, sign the log, see your shadow (or not), then head on your caching way with an early-morning smiley!
Let's meet at the Jack in the Box at the corner of Trinity and Highway 360 to see if we're going to have an early spring, or be stuck with 6 more weeks of winter.
No groundhogs that I know of in this part of the world, so we'll each play the role of Punxutawnie Phil. We will meet at 7:15 inside the restaurant and sign the log. Once the sun rises, which it's supposed to do at 7:23, we'll head outside to see if we see our shadows. No dancing or groundhog costumes required, but if you want to - hey, go for it!
There are a number of caches in this area, if you want to start your caching run here, or it's a nice central location to meet up and head out wherever the day takes you.
We should be done by 7:30, but chatting, socializing, and cache-talk may ensue afterwards. When logging this cache, be sure to note whether you saw your shadow or not.
I know this is really early for some people (myself included). If you want to come in pjs then head back to bed, I wouldn't blame you a bit!
