8/22/19: When I created this multi in 2013, I was very proud of how clever I was in making the finder read everything so carefully to find the coordinates for the next stages. However, when I tried to find all that information today, I was appalled at how much work it was, and resolved to simplify things. The physical locations are the same, but the information gathering has been simplified dramatically.
According to this plaque the original one story adobe dwelling was located about X feet west of the plaque. The second stage is at N37 52.A W122 17.B, where A = X + 603 and B = X + 198.
At the second stage coordinates you will find additional information about Berkeley's early history. According to this information, the Spanish settlers arrived as a group of X Spanish and Mexican soldiers, servants and cattle drivers, their wives, and Y children. The the final stage is at N37 52.A W122 17.B, where A = X + 456 and B = Y + 182.
At the final stage coordinates there is a conventional cache and log to sign. Log only. BYOP.
