Tämä kätkö on omistettu rakkaan cavalierimme, Leevin muistolle. This cache is dedicated to the memory of our beloved cavalier, Leevi.
Tampereella oli vuonna 2012 rekisteröityjä koiria 4243 kpl, mutta Kennelliiton arvion mukaan niitä todennäköisemmin oli paljon enemmän. (lähde: Tampereen kaupungin viherpalveluohjelma v.2012) Näistä koirista suuri määrä liikkuu Leinolan-Holvastin alueella. Tampereen kaupungin 12 koirapuistosta Leinolassa on yksi, ja kaupungin ylläpitämiä jätösroskiksia on kävelyreittien varrella useita. Tähän helppoon, kolmiosaiseen multikätköön ei liity laskutoimituksia. Se esittelee pätkiä eräästä vilkkaasta koirien ulkoilureitistä Leinolassa, Kalervonpuistossa. Näitä polkuja Leevikin ehti lähes 11-vuotisen elämänsä aikana tallata ja merkata muutamia tuhansia kertoja.. Annetut koordinaatit vievät alkupisteeseen, jonka vieressä on parkkipaikka (myös busseilla 16 ja 37 pääsee lähelle). Sieltä löytyvät koordinaatit (leveyksien ja pituuksien 3 viimeistä numeroa) seuraavaan pisteeseen, josta jälleen pitää etsiä uudet numerot varsinaiselle kätkölle (tällä toisella pisteellä ei tarvitse irrottaa mitään - ja varmuuden vuoksi olemme katsoneet parhaaksi kertoa lähimmän talon aikuisille tästä reittipisteestä). Päätepisteestä löytyy small-kokoinen kätköpurkki, jossa on lokivihko ja kynä sekä FTF-palkkioksi jotain asiaan kuuluvaa. Lähellä on leikkipuisto ja pelikenttä, joten alueella liikkuu muitakin kuin koirallisia jästejä, mutta ei taukoamatta. Vähän kärsivällisyyttä siis tarvitaan. Geokoira olisi tietenkin paras hämy :). Tämä lenkki on kuitenkin niin lyhyt, ettei se sellaisenaan riitä terveelle koiralle. Tervetuloa nuuskimaan ja merkkailemaan! The english name of this cache is "The dogs of Leinola". There were 4243 registered dogs in Tampere in the year 2012, but according to the Finnish Kennel Club the number would have been lots of more. Many of these dogs live in Leinola-Holvasti. The city of Tampere has established 12 dog parks and one of them is situated in Leinola. Also there are lots of trash cans for dog dirts along the walkways. This is a three-part multicache. It introduces some parts of a busy dog trail in one of the parks of Leinola. You don’t have to make any calculations etc. The given coordinates take you to the starting point. There is a parking lot right beside, and you can also get there by bus (number 16 or 37). At this first point you should find the next coordinates (the last three numbers of latitude and longitude). Accordingly at the second point you should find the next numbers for the size-micro cache at the last point. At the second point you aren’t supposed to remove anything. There is a logbook, a pencil and a sharpener in the cache, and there is also a prize for the FTF. A playground and a playing field are also situated in the middle of this park. So, there might be many people passing by – either with or without dogs. So, please be careful. Welcome to sniff and mark!
