BOBF signed up for geocaching in 2001. Last week, he found his 1000th cache.
Bobf is pre-Charter member and a great guy who loves caching. This cache is placed by Cache Party, a floating group of cachers who have more than once benefited from Bobf's wisdom, wit, friendship, and navigational abilities. The ever-growing list of cachers who have accompanied Bobf on these CP days include: Gealabhan, Midgie4me, Olaf Itoff, Randy4Fun, and Team Io-Honu. Also on one of these excursions CP teamed up for a while on some memorable caches with the Lindyfinds.
Continue caching, Bobf, and may your next thousand come more quickly than your first!

[If you click through on the owner link, you will see that the actual owner of the cache is now bobf. It is unusual for the honoree of a milestone cache to be its owner, so perhaps I should explain. The actual original CO was my great caching buddy, Olaf Itoff, who passed away on May 30, 2016. Before he died, he asked me to take over both the milestone caches he had placed in my honor, and I have. Rest in Peace, Olaf!
Olaf's friends continue his Cache Party tradition by caching together using Olaf's "Cache Party" stamp to stamp the logs.
