BrewerMD: I am so so sorry for any inconvenience. I went up today and saw that there was trimming that took place and the final 50 ft of the trail has small trees over it. I have decided that since this cache was placed just over three years ago, the seven cachers that visited would likely be the only ones that would be interested in doing so and that this cache could be archived without causing any distress. If I am incorrect, please let me know and I will do whatever I can to fix this problem.

Geocache Description:

Miranda and I have been going up this road weekly for a few years now as a close to home quick walk, I finally decided to share it with you. The cache is placed on a viewpoint knoll 1.7 miles from the gate. To get to the cache, you will be walking on roads until the last 100 ft, then you will on a social trail. The cache gets 2.5 stars terrain for distance and then 1 more for the last 100 ft where you will need to follow an old social trail that pushes through some young evergreens to a mossy viewpoint...and a cache!

If you want to mix it up a bit, you can take a mountainbike trail back down the hill a bit, look for the trail off the main road right before you get to the cache. If you take this trail, you can wander around the hill quite a bit or you can shoot for N48 41.110 W122 23.021 where it crosses back to the road you walked in on. You will also find a mountainbike trail at those coords that goes east and that trail will connect up with the roads above near GC3GHN3 or thereabouts.
