Geocache Description:

You are looking for a themed Ammo Can chock full of Good Luck!! There is some mighty fine swag around these parts!!

Shamrock" was part of a series of caches called "Wearin' O the Green"(GC46B7A) which is now retired. However, you can still log this hide as an individual Geocache. This traditional cache now contains the components of a letterbox for those interested in stamping the log. Please leave the stamper and pad in the cache for future cachers.

The shamrock, which was also called the "seamroy" by the Celts, was a sacred plant in ancient Ireland because it symbolized the rebirth of spring. By the seventeenth century, the shamrock had become a symbol of emerging Irish nationalism. As the English began to seize Irish land and make laws against the use of the Irish language and the practice of Catholicism, many Irish began to wear the shamrock as a symbol of their pride in their heritage and their displeasure with English rule.
The shamrock later became associated with St. Patrick. It is said that St. Patrick used the shamrock to help him explain the meaning of the Holy Trinity. The Holy Trinity being God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
You will need to look inside the log book to see the answer to the question associated with the bonus cache. Question #1 of "Wearin' O the Green".
