Nov. 8, 1:30-2:30 PM @ BHC - Building 4-Restaurant This is part of a larger program with the UofI Extension/4H. If you would like to join us at 1:30 and help lead a group that would be awesome! The group will meet at 1 PM for about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes inside the Building 4 Restaurant and then head out to find some GC. When we go outside we will probably head out of building 3. Unless you have a BHC hang tag plan to park in Lot 4.
This enrichment event is to introduce 7th and 8th graders to using a GPSr and Geocaching. This is part of a pretty exciting and comprehensive adventure with the UofI Extension/4H. They have been learning about GIS and map layering & reading. They will work to develop a plan to make improvements to Wiman Park -- doing needs assessment, mapping, designing / researching / budgeting park improvements.
