Geocache Description:

This cache is located across the creek from the Haverstraw launch ramp, after your launch paddle north to locate the entrance to this pond, the channel will swing you around to head south and you will see an opening, You will need a Kyack / Canoe / Rowboat to reach this cache. It is a large bison tube with a log only. BRING YOUR OWN PEN. It is a nice ride through the marsh, HIGH TIDE RECOMENDED to avoid the mud flats

This pond was created digging out the clay to make brick in the mid 1800's on this Island you can find old bricks and footings used for machines to manufacture the brick. 3.000.000 brick a year were taken out of this area in the 1860's Congrats to Team Geofrog For a great effort on this FTF :)
