How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Come out and celebrate Earth Day with fellow geocachers!

This event is coordinated with the Historic Medley District in Poolesville on the site of the John Poole House and the 2013 MML Cache in Poolesvile.

The event will start at 9:00 AM and run until noon. Please RSVP on the cache page with your "Will Attend" (and keep it up-to-date) so we can plan our projects. This page will be updated if additional parking coordinates are needed or projects are added!

Please plan to bring work gloves for everyone in your group. If you have gardening tools applicable to the projects listed below, please bring those as well. It's a good idea to label them with your geo-name if you bring some to share. The event coordinator will bring masking tape and markers, in case you forget and want to label on site.

Herb Box Spring Preparations
Mulching

We will have some door prizes and raffle items through the support of the Maryland Geocaching Society and CoinsAndPins.com.
