LAKE ANITA STATE PARK
This cache is a L&L with trade items a log and pencil. Please remember to CITO.
Lake Anita is a great destination for outdoor fun whether it be fishing, hiking, camping or swimming. The lake is known as one of Iowa’s premier panfish lakes with crappie and bluegill being the primary catch. Largemouth bass and channel catfish can also be caught either from a boat or from one of the fishing jetties.
Hiking and biking are popular activities on the bike trail that extends around the lake and connects to the town of Anita. Bring your tent or RV and enjoy a view of the lake. On warm summer days, enjoy a splash at the beach or play a friendly game of sand volleyball.
