Geocache Description:

This Highland Park neighborhood needs some love. Until a few months ago, it didn't even have a name. Just off the exit ramp, it seems to be a magnet for people throwing trash out their windows. What better occasion than Earth Day to clean everything up. We hope to see lots of you there. Our reward, a smiley face, delicious lunch and special Earth Day Souvenir!

Meet in front of Warehouse Boxing Gym at 10:00 AM. BYO gloves and other trash collecting gear. We'll proceed south along Old Skokie Road, continue west at Old Deerfield Road and clean up the patch of land just south of the Jewel parking lot. I'll see about Jewel donating bags and/or recycling bins. Lunch to follow at Subway...
