(1,000 acres)
Nestled in the rolling hills of southwest Iowa, Viking Lake is a perfect setting for recreation. The park’s campground is located between the arms of the lake, which provide lakeshore access to many of the campsites.
A sandy swimming beach welcomes swimmers and the concession/restaurant is the perfect place for a refreshing snack or meal. Rent a paddleboat for a trip around the lake or a pontoon boat for a more leisurely outing. Pack up your family’s favorite lunch and enjoy a shady picnic area where you can play on a playground, fi sh or enjoy the lovely view.
