This cache is part of a pilot project between the Iowa DNR and the IGO designed to evaluate geocaching in Iowa's state parks. The project will evaluate 25 caches at Honey Creek Park for one year. Each cache will have an approved permit.

Fall in love with one of many breath-taking views. As part of the Loess Hills, a landform found only along Iowa’s portion of the Missouri River and in China, Waubonsie has a unique landscape. Atop steep ridges at scenic overlooks, visitors can see the lands of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
