Geocaching 101
The Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce is presenting a FREE class to the entire community and any current Geocachers interested in joining us!

GEOCACHING 101
Saturday, APRIL 20th 2013
1pm to 3pm
Maupin High School Cafeteria
(Class will be taught by GEOregon, experienced Geocachers, who will be available following the class for as long as anyone would like hands on practice with GPS Units.)
Since launching the historical GeoTour in the Maupin Area in the Fall of 2012, Maupin has had plenty new visitors. The Chamber worked with the school district to obtain a grant from the Wasco Co. Cultural Trust to purchase several GPS units. The Maupin Library will soon be able to loan these devices so our community can participate in a family-friendly fun event for all ages, beginning Summer 2013. Only class attendees will be eligible to participate in the free attendance raffle for one of two new GPS units.
