Remember bumping your head while looking for that dreaded cache on that locomotive in Independence?
If you are like me, you saw stars.
Well, here is a sanctioned opportunity to do that again!
The Sanford Planetarium is the first in the state of Iowa. Programmes usually include slides introducing the constellations of the night sky, and then a visit to their planetarium, where various objects and constellations in the night sky are located and discussed.
Let's plan on meeting at these posted coordinates at
2:00pm on
May 26th.
The programme is free (painless) and takes about an hour.
We'd like to thank the fine folks at the Sanford Museum & Planetarium for granting us permission to host this Event at their fine facility.
