How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Explore the little community of Belgium, WI ... socialize with other geocachers and of course find some geocaches. There will be event caches: six in the "city" and six in the nearby state park ... with clues leading to a 13th bonus cache. Some of the event caches will be released as regular caches after the event, so you can log the finds.

Event Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2013

Meeting Location:
Meeting Room of New Season Community Church
280 Lakeview Drive, Belgium, WI
(enter the west entrance at N 43° 29.785 W 087° 50.045).

Time Line:
- 8:00am to Noon: Get your handout at the meeting location & seek the event caches.
- Noon: The deadline to turn in handout (completed or not) for prize drawing eligibility.
- Noon to 1pm: Picnic and social time, back at the meeting location.

Bring your own picnic lunch for your family; we will have grills fired up too, if you wish to have a cookout.
We will provide hot dogs and bottled water.
We'll set up a picnic area on the lawn (or inside if the weather isn't nice).

STATE PARK STICKER REQUIRED for the event caches that will be at Harrington Beach State Park.
The park entrance and office are at N43 29.964 W087 48.707

When you list your WILL ATTEND, please indicate how many people you think you will be.
