Built by businessman, A.C. Probert in 1887, an addition was made in 1910 to this Folk Victorian style house. A rare brownstone hitching post and carriage block is located in front of the house. Probert was one of the men who spearheaded the moving of the county seat from Bayfield to Washburn.
This is privately owned and the cache is not located on the property. Please do not tresspass. Find the clue at the Historic Cache in the Series to find the Final @ DuPont Row.
