Yes, the hamlet of Harrison once was a famed winter sports destination! Between 1928 and 1949, the Norswift Ski Club maintained a ski jump. The ramp was up next to where the water tower is, and the athletes jumped towards the east, down to what is now Brae Burn Country Club. The cache isn't up there though - those are all residential streets now, and I didn't want to inflict additional traffic on them. And I also wanted to hide a D/T of 1 for a change :). If a T1 is too easy for you, I also own a couple T4 caches on the the far side of Silver Lake that you are welcome to check out instead.
The Silver Lake / Harrison Historical Society has an amazing movie on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/HarrisonsHistory/videos/1994147773943704 which gives a great impression on how things were back then. There is also a short article in the NY Times archives http://www.nytimes.com/1998/04/19/nyregion/county-was-a-ski-jump-destination.html
