Geocache Description:

Seaton Delaval - New Hartley Ramble. This is a walk along the footpaths of Seaton Delaval and New Hartley. The terrain is both cycle and buggy friendly, although after rain it could be muddy in places. There are other caches along the way including a multi in New Hartley itself. You would be advised to get the info needed for this one prior to starting out on the ramble.

The ramble is approx 5 1/2 miles long although there are seats at different parts of the route. You also pass close by to two public houses and local shops should you need any refreshment en route. One cache contains an unactivated geocoin FTF prize, but which one? This is your last cache and from here your will see the W sign for the crossing you walked over 6 miles ago. These days you will more than likely hear the horn of a diesel engine, however now and again you may hear a whistle from a steam special. This little devil may take a little spotting. Congratulations to Duncan on FTF.
