Synchronized throughout the world (maybe in a galaxy far, far away too) there will be hundreds of similar events on May 4, 2013 throughout the day. In the Central Time Zone (US), it is at 12:00 pm CDT (local time).
11:50-11:59: Be in Robbins Island Park in Willmar, MN participating in a typical recreational activity.
12:00: Quickly assemble at GZ!
12:00-12:07: Recite a quote from one of the Star Wars movies, or engage in a lightsaber battle! Sound effects are a good thing!
12:07: Pose for group Photo
12:10: Sign Log & Pick winners of drawing!
12:15: Leave GZ in Hyper Drive!
Optional: Since it is Star Wars Appreciation Day, Sci-Fi/Star Wars costumes and/or lightsabers are encouraged!
Rules
- NO real weapons
- NO real violence (this is a pretend battle!)
- Be creative! No need to have real props (a broom handle would work!)
- It is not required to dress up, but it will be more entertaining
- Have fun!
We will have a drawing for FTF and some goodies, bring a slip of paper with your name on it to be in the drawing.
