The first summit that you will reach is an area that at one time was much higher. Material that was being used to build the dike for the failed dam project was hauled from this hill. You can notice that some of the old haul roads are still able to be made out.

This cache is placed with the permission of Property Manager Jason Lies. The Kickapoo Valley reserve requires that all geocaches placed on the property owned by the Kickapoo Valley Reserve have a geocaching notification form fill out and turn in to them before placing a cache.
