50 years - The Golden Anniversary.
This cache is being placed in honor of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were married April 27, 1963.
Through the years we have had many changes, good and bad, but through it all we have remained true friends.
We have been blessed with fantastic children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Life is GREAT! :-)
Geocaching became a part of our life's two years ago and we have met some awesome people and gone to lots of neat places. So what better way to help celebrate our anniversary, than to share a special cache.
We were not sure where to place such a large host and it be safe from muggles. Told some of the family of our search for the perfect place and son-in-law told us about this place that he had been to when he was youngerand actually took us by to place our cache on way to take great-granddaughter to Hagen Stone Park. Across the street from the main church, is an awesome building, which you can go in. The gentlemen that came by while we were there and gave us permission to hide our cache anywhere, said that they have weddings and other activities there. The sign outside says "Founded 1813 -- RECONSTRUCTED IN MINIATURE IN 1963 BY THE UPPER ROOM BIBLE CLASS." Now how perfect is that? 200th anniversary and reconstructed the same year we were married! WOW!
The cache should be an easy find. Be very gentle when taking off "top". Log inside. Make sure host's lid is snapped back on and replaced as found.
ENJOY and happy caching!
