I would suggest long pants, good hiking shoes and a hat when approaching this cache. The undergrowth can be thick and thorny. I have not seen any poison ivy but I would not be surprised to find some here. And when placing the cache we did encounter ticks.
Please park in the parking lot for the Veterans Memorial Plaza, it is much safer than any other alternatives.
Watch your step! There are loose rocks and downed trees all over. If the water is low you should be able to cover much of the distance near the waters edge, otherwise you will need to travel over the rocks which can be very tricky.
This area was used as a landfill until 1976 so there is a lot of broken glass and old trash. I've brought scouts here to clean it up before and collected many bags of trash but it always collects more. :( Feel free to CITO.
Additional instructions will be provided inside the cache. Please bring your own pen/pencil and return the cache as found.
The riddle should make sense when you find the cache. This cache may try your patience in more ways than one.
