Geocache Description:

Located along the Skyline Trail – just a great walk any time of year. Coordinates listed below are for the trailhead access point near the Ice Age Interpretive Center. The fall is especially beautiful with all the colors. Regular size container here. My daughter (Tumbleweed) helped choose the camo on this one – I kept humming songs played at Woodstock as I put it together.

The Wisconsin Geocaching Association (WGA) and the Minnesota Geocaching Association (MnGCA) are both great organizations that promote geocaching in their respective states and the positive aspects of this great sport. Many talented and dedicated people volunteer their time for the betterment of geocaching. Their websites are wonderful resources – check them out: WGA (visit link) and the MnGCA (visit link)

Daily or yearly park sticker required. Park hours are 6am-11pm. During cross-country ski season, please keep off the groomed trails.

Have fun!

About Interstate State Park

Interstate is Wisconsin's oldest state park, established in 1900. Located along the picturesque St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, the park provides scenic views of the river and the steep-sided gorge known as the Dalles of the St. Croix. The Ice Age Interpretive Center features a film, photographs, murals, and information about the great glaciers. There are over 9 miles of hiking trails in the park, many which take you through scenic State Natural Areas.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the park manager at Interstate State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
