The geo-dogs visit Catan Event Cache

Beccaday and the Cachers of Catan would like to invite you to our first event.  Last fall we got our first dog and she instantly became a part of our family.  Coco is now our caching partner so it's time we host a geo-dog event.

Unofficial event start time: 5:00 PM

We’re going to be doing something different here. We’re going to start the event over inside the large dog fenced in area on one side of the park. We’ll be meeting at N42 58.774 W88 11.735 for some socializing with the dogs when they can be off-leash.

Official event time: 6:00-8 PM

The rest of the event will take place at the coordinates listed on the cache page at picnic shelter #5. Please feel free to come for one, the other, or both. Please note that dogs are supposed to be on leash at the picnic area, as well as the rest of the park outside of the fenced in areas.

What to bring:

We’ll be providing…what else?...but hot dogs! Please bring your own dish to pass as well as drinks, plates and utensils. If you’d prefer your own meat to grill then bring that too. We will be at a shelter but you may want to bring your own chairs in case we get too full.

Cost:

Please note that Minooka is part of the Waukesha county park system so there is a cost of $4/car to park at the picnic area.
