Geocache Description:

A 6.5 mile walk around Handforth and Woodford consisting of 35 caches. Most of which are easy to find with the exception of 1 or 2.
For a shorter walk of around 3 miles taking in 13 caches. You could find 1-8 then 30-35. Although you wouldn't have the info for the bonus at 34.
If you are doing the full walk you will also pass within a few feet of 2 of my puzzle caches, 29th August and 29th December. If you require any help with these please don't hesitate to contact me.
If you have spare a pine cone or two and some means of attaching them to a tree, take them with you to leave at WW32. You'll see why when you get there.

Parking can be found at N53 20.773 W2 12.327 or alternatively there is plenty of parking available at the nearby retail park.

From the suggested parking place, follow the GPS to WW1, passing through the gate follow the path to WW2 and then on to WW3. To reach WW4 it is not advisable to follow the arrow, as the terrain approaching GZ is steep and will be treacherous in wet weather. Instead keep on the well defined path which runs along side the A34, Until you reach some steps. Follow the path to the right of the third from bottom step, this is a much eastier route to WW4. After finding WW4 retrace you steps back to the path along side the A34 turning right as you reach it. Follow the path down to the river, then through the tunnel. The path will then lead you to WW5, Do not cross the river, but continue on the path up a steep hill through the woods following the path out of the woods into a field, where you will shortly arrive at WW6. Then walk past a few houses and down the track to WW7 and then on to WW8. At WW8 if you want a shorter walk go over the stile and turn left towards WW29. To find WW9 continue down the track and then onto WW10. At WW10 go over the stile and follow the GPS down the right side of the field to a stile at WW11. After finding WW11 cross the other stile and walk down the path between the hedge on your left and fields on the right, over a stile and onto Church Lane where you will reach WW12. Turning left onto Church Lane you will soon arrive at WW13. Walk down Blossoms lane to WW14. Continue along this lane until you reach a path on the righthand side just after the stables. Walk down this path to WW15. Then over the stile and through a garden to Church Lane turning right to a gate on the left where there is a public footpath around the cricket field. Walking around the field anti-clockwise you will come to a stile and WW16. Then head SE to another stile where you need to turn left. Continuing on to WW17. At WW17 walk along Foden Lane to Moor Lane, turning left along Moor Lane until you reach Church Lane and WW18. Continue along the main road to Blossoms Lane where you turn left to WW19. Further along there is a stile on the right, just before a new build. Go over this stile and onto WW20. continue along this path turning right after the next stile. Then you will reach another stile before arriving at GZ for WW21. Now back at the main road turn left, then next left into Dairy House Lane where you will find WW22 and WW23, after the road turns to the left you will arrive at WW24. Now retrace you steps for a few yards, then turn left and walk down to WW25. A little further on just past the pond there is a path that leads to WW26 to get to WW27 just follow your GPS across the field. If there are cows in the field you can avoid them by going through the fitness centre car park(although this is not a public right of way). At WW27 you could either go through the carpark or south along the fence to the corner of the field where there is a stile. Now turn left along the path to WW28. Continue along the path to WW29. Then walk back on yourself until you come to a small path on the left(it may not be that easy to spot). Turn left and follow this narrow path to WW30. The path is now more distinct to WW31. To get to WW32 I do not advise following your GPS arrow, but continue down the main path, keeping th GZ on your right. You will shortly arrive at a path crossroads where you need to turn right. This is a far easier route to WW32. There is now a distinct path to within 150 feet of WW33. You should be able to see a footbridge over the A34 which you need to cross after picking up the bonus at WW34. Shortly after crossing the A34 you will arrive at WW35. Then it's a short walk down the lane back to the start.
