Geocache Description:

For years our family was coming to the swimming beach at Minooka Park. It wasn't until we started geocaching that we discovered what a large park this actually is! You will enjoy a stroll alongside the pond to find this 2-part multi cache. We usually see ducks and canadian honkers on the pond. Did you see any while you were hunting the cache?

This cache is located at Minooka Park, part of the Waukesha County Park system. This is a great park with lots of hiking trails, a swimming beach, dog exercise area, archery, fishing opportunities, groomed cross-country ski trails in the winter and lots of picnic areas. Plus, there are lots of opportunities for caching in the park! The park is open from sunrise until 10 PM daily. You will have to pay the parking fee at all Waukesha county parks. You can find the fee schedule here: http://www.waukeshacounty.gov/defaultwc.aspx?id=39522 Waukesha county parks require permission before a cache can be placed. This cache placement was approved on 5/21/13, permit #2013-9.
