Der Multi führt in ca. 1 Stunde auf einem ca. 1,5 km langen Rundweg durch die sehenswerte Neuburger Altstadt.

An den Listingkoordinaten steht ihr am Eingang zur Neuburger Tourist-Information. Die Cachebox steht in der Tourist-Information. Ihr könnt sie euch dort anschauen.
An das Logbuch kommt ihr aber nur, wenn ihr euch auf einem Rundweg durch die Altstadt die Zahlen für den CODE holt.
Von der Touristeninformation gehen wir zum Stadttheater bei N 48° 44.186 E 011° 10.786.
Der Bau diente ehemals als Kornspeicher und wurde im 19. Jahrhundert umgebaut. Das Innere des Theaters ist im Stil der Biedermeierzeit eingerichtet.

Bei N 48° 44.229 E 011° 10.817.
steht ihr vor dem Tor zum Schloßhof, über das ihr in den sehenswerten Innenhof und zum Eingang des Schloßmuseums gelangt.
Links neben dem Tor befindet sich die Schloßkapelle. Die Kapelle des Neuburger Schloßes ist der älteste erhaltene protestantische Kirchenbau der Welt. Betreten könnt ihr sie durch die Tür am Durchgang zum Schloßhof.
Schaut nun aber außen am Schloß auf die Hinweistafel. Welche Zahl in der Legende weist auf den Zugang zur Schloßkapelle hin? B =
Solltet ihr viel Zeit haben, so ist ein Besuch des Museums und der Staatsgalerie Flämische Barockmalerei mit Originalwerken von Rubens, van Dyck u.a. sehr empfehlenswert (Eingang im Schloßhof). Auf jeden Fall solltet ihr aber noch in den Schloßgarten (Zugang vom Schloßhof aus gleich rechts neben dem Eingang zum Schloßmuseum) mit der einmaligen Muschelgrotte einen Blick werfen.
Nach dem Besuch des Schloßes gehen wir über die Amalienstraße bergauf zur Hofkirche bei N 48° 44.252 E 011° 10.742.
Die Hofkirche, erbaut 1607 – 1618, zählt zu den bedeutendsten Bauten der Spätrenaissance in Süddeutschland.

Über den Karlsplatz mit dem Marienbrunnen gehen wir weiter zur Provinzialbibliothek bei N 48° 44.241 E 011° 10.678.
Das Innere der Provinzialbibliothek mit seinem prachtvollen, barockem Schrankwerk ist ein wahres Schmuckstück von Neuburg. Leider kann man sie von innen nur im Rahmen einer offiziellen Stadtführung besichtigen. Wenn man mehr Zeit in Neuburg verbringt, auf jeden Fall lohnenswert!

Weiter die Amalienstraße entlang gelangen wir bei N 48° 44.203 E 011° 10.546 zur Münz.
Vormals eine Wehranlage, diente die Münz als Gießhütte und Münzstätte des Fürstentums Pfalz-Neuburg.
Ihr benötigt von der Tafel der Münz die letzte Ziffer. E =
Über eine scharfe Linkskurve geht es die Straße hinab zum Oberen Tor bei N 48° 44.173 E 011° 10.549.
Auf der Außenseite seht ihr das Stadtwappen mit den Neuburger Steckenreitern.
Ihr benötigt von der Tafel des Oberen Tors die letzte Ziffer. F =
Gleich rechts neben dem Tor führt eine Treppe hinauf zur sogenannten Hutzeldörre. Geht den Weg ganz hinauf bis zur Stadtmauer und dann dort entlang. Bei N 48° 44.135 E 011° 10.805 habt ihr einen herrlichen Blick auf die Untere Stadt und das Umland.
Was findet ihr an der Mauer bei N 48° 44.139 E 011° 10.818:
eine Eisenleiter? (G = 5)
eine Kanonenkugel? (G = 7)
ein eisernes Kreuz? (G = 9)
UND JA, DIESE STATION GIBT ES IMMER NOCH
Nun habt ihr die letzte Zahl des Codes und es ist auch nicht mehr weit zurück zum Eingang der Touristeninformation. Nutzt hierzu den Wegpunkt, anschl. die Treppe hoch und entlang des Stadtgrabens, danach die Straße hoch zur Touristeninformation.
Der Code um an das Logbuch zu kommen ist ganz einfach und lautet: ABCDEFG
Gebt den Code ein und drückt dann die Taste "A".
Wenn das grüne Licht leuchtet könnt ihr den Tresor mit dem Drehknopf öffnen.

At the listing coordinates you are standing in front of the entrance to the Tourist-Information Neuburg. You will find the cache box in the office, but you can only visit the box there. To log the cache you need a CODE. The digits for this CODE you will get on a trail through the old town of Neuburg.
Let's start our tour now.
First station is the Stadttheater at N 48° 44.186 E 011° 10.786.
Formerly the building was a granary and was rebuilt to a theater in the 19th century. The interior of the theater is decorated in the style of the Biedermeier period.

At N 48° 44.229 E 011° 10.817 you are standing at the entrance of the passage which leads you to the remarkable courtyard of the castle and to the entrance of the Schloßmuseum. On the left side there is the Palace Chapel. This chapel is the oldest protestant church building of the world. You can enter the chapel trough the door at the left side of the passage.
But you have to look for the information board outside the castle, close by the gate. What is the digit in the legend that shows you the entrance of the Palace Chapel? B =
Should you have some more time, a visit to the museum and the Staatsgalerie Flämische Barockmalerei with original works of Rubens, van Dyck and more, is definitely recommended. The entrance is in the courtyard. But in all cases you should not miss to visit the castle garden (access right to the entrance of the museum) with the unique shell grotto.
Going up the hill by the Amalienstraße, we are reaching the Hofkirche at N 48° 44.252 E 011° 10.742.
The Hofkirche, built 1607 – 1618, is one of the most important buildings of the late renaissance in southern germany.

The interior of the Provinzialbibliothek with its magnificent baroque cabinet work is a true jewel of Neuburg. Unfortunately, you can only visit the rooms inside with an official guided city tour. If you spend more time in Neuburg, it's definitely worth it!

With a sharp left turn, the road goes down to the Oberes Tor at N 48° 44.173 E 011° 10.549.
At the soutside of the gate you can see the coat of arms with the so-called "Neuburger Steckenreitern".

Right next to the gate, a staircase leads you to the so-called "Hutzeldörre". Go up the stairs all the way to the town wall and then along the wall. At N 48° 44.135 E 011° 10.805 you will have a great view to the lower town and the surroundings of Neuburg.What will you find at the wall at N 48° 44.139 E 011° 10.818:

Now you have the last number of the code and it's not far back to the entrance of the tourist information. Use the waypoint, then up the stairs and along the moat, then up the street to the tourist information.
