-Tiki-: This cache is on lands and waters belonging to the US Army Corps of Engineers at Coralville Lake.

Your cache "gnarly beaver hole" GC4CP21 has been brought to my attention.
The Corps of Engineers requires a permit for all geocaches placed on its
property and they do not have a permit on file for this geocache. As such I am
required to archive this cache immediately. Should you get a permit in a timely manner, we may be able to un-archive it once it is approved by the Corps of Engineers.

A geocache permit application can be obtained at the office at the
Coralville Dam in Iowa City, or they can email you a pdf of the application.

Geocache Description:

only accesable by boat in the current conditions. this location may be out of water in drought conditions or in the ice but it is kinda deep right now. you will need to bring a writing utensil.

I was out kayaking the rez today looking for a great spot in the water. when I saw this place I knew it had to be. as I was placing the cache a big beaver jumped out and quickly dissapeared. This is how the cache was named. be very careful on approach especially in a motor boat. it is unknown what lies beneath the water. my boat has a very shallow draft and I did not encounter anything so paddle boats are ideal. as always, cache at your own risk and have fun.

If you cannot swim then do not attempt this cache.
