Geocache Description:

Monona is celebrating it's 75th annaversery in 2013.  This cache is one of many to highlight our parks.  These caches will continue to be maintained by our parks and recreation department.  Enjoy! For the 75th event, make sure to note the letter written on the log sheet.

The towering cottonwoods in beautiful Maywood Park evoke a woods-like quality, inviting young and old to enjoy the shady open space. It’s perfect for picnicking, walking a nature trail, playing a pick-up game of basketball, or romping on the brand-new playground equipment. There’s a small off-street parking lot.
