SCHNAUZER'S 2nd ANNUAL END-OF-SUMMER CACHE BASH

The members of Team Schnauzer would formally like to invite all of you geocachers out there to our second "End-of-Summer" grill out event. Last year's event was a huge success and we hope that this year's will be just as fun! Join us on Saturday, October 5 in State Center, Iowa (Iowa's Rose Capital) for a day full of geocaching, flash-mobbing, eating and celebrating everything geocaching related. Though we were unable to get the same shelterhouse at Hickory Grove Park like we did last year, we are thrilled to have found a place that meets our needs in nearby State Center this time around.

We will be providing hot dogs, buns, plates, napkins and silverware for the group. Please bring a side dish to share and your own beverages. Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages - they are prohibited on City grounds.

We have released 15 new permanent caches in and around State Center in conjunction with this event. The caches will mostly be park-and-grab style caches and we will have them placed and listed and ready for download about a week prior to the event. We won't be releasing any at the event itself this time around. We have also placed 8 cemetery caches in the NW part of Marshall County. Biscuitt Bunch has graciously placed 19 new permanent caches in the SE part of Marshall County, for a total of 34 permanent caches!

We certainly enjoyed having you as our guests last year and we are definitely looking forward to having you all with us again this year!
