You will need a boat to get the cache. Use of internal combustion engines is prohibited. A kayak or canoe is best. See related web page for details on the boat launch.

The cache is located on a rock island. You do not need to leave your boat to retrieve the cache.
I want to get others to enjoy paddling here and don't want to make this difficult to find, so will give details of the hide. It is a geocaching.com camoed micro cache capsule with a key ring. The key ring is around a branch of a plant. The container only has a log. Bring pen/pencil.
Before or after making the find, take a tour around the lake. My wife and I have noticed birds, swans, ducks, fish and frogs.
