Geocache Description:

It’s Little, Like Me!

Hey you guys! This is a really neat little thing that I love lots n lots! I found this with my people when we were out looking around. And it is so cool! It’s called a Little Free Library and it’s a library but it’s little. Like me! It works a lot like caching where if you take something you leave something. It’s so neat! But we were able to add to it, give it a little twist, if you will. We wanted others to enjoy this so we did something to make you smile. :-)

Here is a little history on the subject: Todd Bol from Hudson, Wisconsin wanted to do something to remember his mommy when she passed away, so he built her a little thing that looked like a tiny school house and filled it with books because she was a book lover and he set it out on a pole in his very own yard and then people loved it and then more people made some and now it’s happening all over the place. Young people and old people and people (and pygmy lions) of all kinds are enjoying these little structures. You can use your GPS to find them!! How unbelievably cool is that, folks?? I’d say pretty cool.

Please do not take pictures of the cache container or anything in the container!!! But you can take pics in the area of the container. And enjoy all the prettiness in the place because it’s really nifty!

Might want to bring your own scribble stick in case it walked off.

This was placed with the permission of Preston who is the director of marketing & special events guy at the market-y thing nearby. He, too, is really cool.
