Series brought to you by...
2a24 & Dutchgrandpa
This Series of caches will follow the former track bed of the G.R. G.H. & M. Electric railway with stops at former depots and other remnants of this great part of West Michigan history.
Highland Park
Highland Park was the final stop of the interurban along it's Grand Haven route. The line to Highland Park was mainly built for dropping off wealthy passengers at their cabins or one of the resorts at Highland park. Around 1925 the line to Highland Park was removed since the cost of removing sand and keeping the line clear began to exceed revenues.

Letterbox Clues
Start your journey at the posted coordinates. Take a look at the great view of lake Michigan but, that is not were you will find the cache. You must look to the East! To the east you should see a boardwalk climbing a small dune. Carefully cross the street so you are at the stairs of our boardwalk. Now you must make the climb to the top of the stairs. Great, your now in the community of Highland Park. Ok, from the top face the "Highland Drive" road sign. From there go to the Right of where you are standing. now what you seek is under your feet.
