In the late 80's, the Minnesota DNR constructed a paved multi-purpose recreational trail through the heart of downtown Lanesboro on what had formerly been the Milwaukee Railroad bed. The Root River State Trail meanders through scenic Southeastern Minnesota amid 300- foot bluffs and along the peaceful Root River. The trail system boasts over 60 miles of paved surfaces, much of them recently upgraded. No pass is required to use the trail, year round.
This Cache meets the guidelines for MN DNR hardwood forests. You are looking for a bison tube. This cache is a few steps off the bike path, in a partially protected beacon. Just watch for muggles. Replace with care.
